2007/08 Year End Performance
2007/08 Year End Performance
The Policing Performance Assessment Framework (PPAF) was an
initiative led by the Home Office and was about 'policing'
as a whole, designed to reflect the contributions of local
communities and other organisations, as well as the police service
itself.
In addition to focusing on operational effectiveness, PPAF provides measures of satisfaction plus overall trust and confidence in the police. In line with the Governments desire to enhance policing accountability at a local level, performance against local priorities is also assessed.
The PPAF framework was introduced into policing performance assessments in 2004/05 and in conjunction with HMIC Baseline assessments has continued to be method used for reporting policing performance until 2007/08.
Estimated Year End figures for 2007/08, based on the known performance achievements for the 10 months April 2007 to January 2008, can be seen using the link below. These figures will be updated in June when actual year end data is known.
