Performance Management
Merseyside Police Authority monitors police performance through its Performance and Scrutiny Review Committee. The Committee monitors police performance against a range of indicators, some nationally some locally determined. Additionally, the Authority's Performance Scrutiny and Review Committee also receive information on a number of wider issues including Domestic Violence and Hate Crime to be scrutinised by Members. Issues can be referred between Committees where the need arises.
The Committee, which meets throughout the year with meetings which are open to the public, is supported by a Performance and Policy Team who are responsible for providing Authority Members with statistical records, reports and analysis of all police performance related information and data.
