Efficiency Plan 2007-08

The Home Office requires Police Authorities to demonstrate increasing efficiency in the services they provide, by the delivery of 3% efficiency gains year-on-year, whilst maintaining or improving performance against a set of key Statutory Performance Indicators. The annual Efficiency Plan and Re-investment Plan are approved as part of the annual Budget process. The Efficiency Plan forms part of the Annual Budget Report and can be viewed using the link below.

The Authority monitors the Forces performance against the Revenue and Capital budgets and the Efficiency Plan, with quarterly budget monitoring reports being submitted to the Authority's Resources & Strategy Committee by the Treasurer and the Chief Constable.
