New member
Merseyside Police Authority welcomes Cllr Paul Clein as its latest member.
He will take his seat at the Annual Meeting of the Authority to be held on Thursday 26th June.
Cllr Clein has served Liverpool City Council for 16 years and was Executive Member for Children's Services from 1998 until earlier this year.
Chair of Merseyside Police Authority, Cllr Bill Weightman, said:
'I look forward to welcoming Cllr Clein to our membership
and I anticipate, with all his wealth of experience, he will bring
fresh ideas and a new voice to the authority. As an authority we
have been going from strength to stength and it's an exciting
time for Paul to become involved. I have no doubt he will enhance
our work and perform a very positive role in the committees to
which he is appointed, and to the authority as a whole.'
